Arctic Circle 2021

These Nordic Talks during the Arctic will address sustainable development in the Arctic, focusing on investments and infrastructure, maritime transportation, and energy.  

The Arctic has been on the top of the international agenda for several decades because the region is in the epicentre of climate change, world geopolitics, and innovation development. In the last years, many business cases have demonstrated that state-of-the-art technologies originating from the Arctic can provide solutions for global problems. At the same time, many Arctic communities are at the initial stage of strategic development planning. Therefore, it is a unique momentum to influence the economy toward sustainability, combining environmental protection with community capacity building.
